Boda de Macarena y Diego...

My friends Mari Paz & Fernando have an amazing family!! Years ago they ¨adopted¨me as their hija Minnesotana/Sevillana, and I have so much fun at their family events...Diego and Macarena got married last weekend, here are some pics of the wedding--this wonderful family knows how to throw a great party! Felicidades Diego & Macarena!!

Back in Sevilla-de-Maravilla...

...but hanging out just like on Sarissa´s terraza with my Thai triangle cushion! Ok, so I don´t have the the same amazing view here or all the free time in the world (where the pretend daily planner used to read: To do- 1. Buy sarong 2. Get massage. 3. Watch sunset) like in Thailand but it is great to be back in Spain!! Highlights since I´ve been back include: A paella BBQ in the country, a nocturnal 12K race on the river, an impromptu flamenco concert with friends in front of the Juan Belmonte statue (my dad´s favorite Hemmingway bullfighter) again on the river, 1st day back at school with the kids (lots of missing teeth from summer! Too cute), riding around on my new bike, making my 1st Pad Thai and catching up with everyone after summer! I´ll keep updating on this blog, even though now it should be called ¨Hi from Triana.¨ Ciao, and lots of love from Spain!!--M.A.
